Evolution of Daffodil by Natural Selection
Charles Darwin
Darwin's Law: Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection
It is the theory explaining how life changed, and continues to change, during Earth's history.
Darwin's Explanation on Daffodil: First of all, daffodil is the species that has changed a bit through out the year. Even though, it grows up in the winter climate countries. Therefore, he would say that, the species was well suited for the climate, temperature and environment. The environment must not change much though out this time. Once the species is adapted from a particular niche, it will remain same and stable. Otherwise, daffodil has to evolve away from the niche, This is extremely unlikely only if the environment changes.
Secondly, as daffodil has an extra part in its organism, comparing to other plants, Darwin might pay attention on that to make his explanation. It has both female and male reproduction organisms. Therefore, daffodils can make reproduction within the flower. For which, Darwin would say that, the species did not change much as they fertilization can occur within the that species.
