Lamarckian Evolution
Lamarck's Theory:
Jean Baptiste Lamarck
- Inheritance of acquired characteristics is the idea by Jean Baptiste Lamarck explains that characteristics acquired during an organism's lifetime can be passed on to its offspring. It means that, in Lamarck's thought, the acquired characteristics could passed down to the next generation.
In the same way, Lamarck would say that Daffodil's special characteristics are passed by its past generation. Also, as the generation goes by the characteristics turned to the perfection. Such as, the continuation of alkaloids and toxicity is slowly and a small amount of it is carried by the past generation. Now, daffodil has that amount of alkaloid and toxicity that can cause diarrhea, abdominal pain.
Also, Daffodil has extra organ other than other flowers. They also carry both female and male reproduction organisms. Lamarck would say that, as the generation went by, the organs and characteristic started to build up and reach to its highest point.
