Narcissus pseudonarcissus is nearby abundant in much of its inborn area and is not considered to be endangered, however four other species of Narcissus (, N. alcaracensis N. bujei, N. radinganorum and N. longispathus ), all of which are native to Spain, are esteemed as Endangered by the IUCN.
Daffodils have suffered a swift decline in England and Wales in the mid-19th century, and they are now considered rare in some areas, even though they are often still abundant in their native are. Daffodil populations are not damaged when flowers are picked, and they can grow in a wide diversity of habitats, but population decline may occurred in some areas for which the over-collection of bulbs or changes in land management and use.
